A critical edition of one of the oldest original (non-translated) travelogues written in Czech. The basis of the edition is the original manuscript of the travelogue from the end of the 15th century and the text of the printed editions from 1539 and 1542 are presented as variants. The edition is accompanied with the article by Martin Boštík (Regional Museum in Litomyšl) on the formation of jednota bratrská, the beginnings of its activity in Litomyšl and the formation of the Litomyšl printing tradition. Included is also the study by Martin Boštík and Miloslava Vajdlová (Czech Language Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences) summarizing older and newer findings on the character, origin, meaning and further fate of the presented work, an editorial note by Miloslava Vajdlová, characterizing the edited sources and their mutual relationships and a glossary of less common old Czech expressions.
