Verification of names and surnames

Czech Language Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences verifies the compliance of names and surnames with laws governing their registration in personal documents. Compliance is verified by the Department of Onomastics of the Czech Language Institute. The department issues expert opinions in writing for this purpose.
