Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of the Czech Language Institute operates under the Czech act No. 341/2005, on Public Research Institutions. Its main tasks include the supervision of the activities and the management of the Institute. The Supervisory Board can entitle its members to inspect the accounting documents and other documents of the institution at any time, to request necessary explanations in order to find out abut actual situation of the institue. It also supervises the disposal of property, proposes the removal of the Director, discusses the draft budget, the management processes of the institution and other key affairs concerning the institution. The Supervisory Board also approves the Institute's annual report.
