Bibliography of Czech Linguistics
The Bibliography of Czech Linguistics (BL), compiled by the Department of Scientific Information of the Czech Language Institute, systematically monitors and creates analytical records of scientific and professional works on linguistic topics.
It processes scientific and professional monographs and analyses linguistic articles and reviews from journals, monographs and proceedings by Czech and foreign authors published in the Czech Republic. It also monitors linguistic works by Czech authors published abroad and works on Czech and Czech linguistics by foreign authors published abroad. Minor works on linguistic topics, such as articles in newspapers, magazines, language essays, etc. are also included. All entries are classified according to a special decimal classification system and assigned keywords. Annotations are included for most entries. Approximately 4,500 records are added each year.
Records from 1991 to the present (as well as a selection of earlier records) are processed in the Bibliography of Czech Linguistics database. The database is a freely accessible, basic source of information for research conducted by linguists, scholars in Czech studies, Slavists and researchers in other disciplines. We provide database search services.
Records from 1945-1994 are preserved in card indexes and in printed Bibliography of Czech Linguistics yearbooks, some of which are available in pdf format.
